The spirit of academic excellence and tradition shone brightly at GBS during the Annual Prize Distribution Program 2081, a much-anticipated event celebrating the achievements of our brightest students. This grand ceremony, held on 23rd Falgun 2081 (7th March 2025) at the GBS Lower Ground Premises, brought together past and present members of the GBS family, distinguished guests, parents, and faculty to recognize outstanding students for their exceptional academic performance.

The ceremony commenced with the National Anthem, followed by an inauguration by the Chief Guest and a welcome speech by Principal Dr. Bishwo Udhir Poudel Gharti. Key moments from the ceremony included but not limited to:

Honoring the Best: EGBOSA Trophy Awards
A highlight of the event was the presentation of the prestigious EGBOSA Trophies, a tradition upheld every year to honor the toppers of the outgoing batches. These awards, instituted by the alumni association of GBS (EGBOSA), symbolize the legacy of excellence that GBS continues to nurture.
For the academic year 2080 B.S., the top achievers who received these esteemed awards were:

The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony 2081 was more than just an award ceremony—it was a grand celebration of dedication, perseverance, and the relentless pursuit of knowledge. The presence of EGBOSA members, who have now ventured into various fields of success, added an inspirational touch to the program, encouraging the new generation of learners reflecting the deep-rooted bond that continues to connect every member of the GBS fraternity.
EGBOSA takes immense pride in fostering a culture at our Alma mater where academic brilliance is celebrated and rewarded. The EGBOSA Trophies, awarded annually, serve as a motivation for students to aim high and push their boundaries. This cherished tradition will continue to inspire future generations to strive for excellence and uphold the values of GBS.
Teachers were honored for their contributions, and the Dr. David Bambach & Principal Awards were presented. Mr. Loknath Acharya, Chief of Education Development & Coordination Unit, Kaski, delivered an inspiring closing speech, followed by a Vote of Thanks from Krishna Prasad Adhikari.
The event, hosted by Mr. Man Bahadur Thapa, concluded with a vibrant Class 11 Group Dance, marking another successful year of academic excellence at GBS.
